Story

Ada Township has received more than $328,000 from the MNRTF through grants that have funded the development of Ada Township Park and Roselle Park over the span of four decades. Enhancements at the Ada Township parks include the erection of shelter and gazebo buildings, the development of fishing access and amenities, accessible trails, upgrades to softball fields and tennis courts, a canoe landing, bridges and boardwalks, and accessibility enhancements to make fishing and playground experiences accessible for all. The Trust Fund investments in Ada Township have made Roselle and Ada Township Parks more user-friendly, and are a draw for residents and visitors alike.

“The MNRTF grants have had a significant impact for the Community of Ada by assisting in the development of local parks, and in turn securing quality open space, natural areas, and safe recreation facilities for people of all abilities. These developments have set the foundation for both passive recreation and instructional programs to keep growing and serving a wide range of visitors from the west Michigan region.”
